Course description
CATIA (Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application) is a multi-platform software
suite for Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Computer Aided
Engineering (CAE), PLM and 3D, developed by the French company Dassault Systemes.
CATIA is a parametric and feature based modelling software which allows the user to create 2D
drawings, 3D parts, and assemblies. CATIA is one of the leading software suite which is used in
various industries such as aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding etc
