Course description

ANSYS WORKBENCH,  is a Multi-physics engineering simulation application, invented in 1970 by John Swanson, in Cannonsberg, Pennsylvania, USA. Its fundamental significance is simulating computer models ( CAD geometry ) of structures, machine components, pipes/tubes, electronic components for analysing strength, toughness, temperature distribution, fluid flow and other attributes, determining how a product functions in various conditions such ambient temperature, while stationary or moving, vibrations, humidity etc, by performing a Finite Elements Analysis.

Ansys is an acronym for Analysis Systems. Ansys WB is an upgrade to APDL (Ansys Parametric Design Language).
